STEPS IN INSTALLING PLASTERBOARD

   - Measure the height and width of the walls or ceiling to determine the size of the plasterboard sheets you need.
   - Mark the layout on the floor or wall for accurate positioning.

    - Cut the plasterboard:
   - Use a measuring tape to mark the desired location on the plasterboard.
   - Measure the plasterboard along the marked line using the blade.
   - Bend the cutting section back to cut the plasterboard along the line.

  -Position the plasterboard:
   - Start at one corner of the wall or ceiling and align the edge of the plasterboard with the marked layout lines.
   - Use a screw gun or drill to secure the plasterboard to the studs or ceiling joists.
   - Drive screws every 6 to 8 inches along the edges and every 12 to 14 inches along the ceiling noggings, ensuring they are slightly closed.

   - Align the subsequent sheets with the edges of the first sheet and the layout marks.
   - fix it like bricks to avoid easy breakages
   - Cut holes for electrical outlets, switches  and other fixtures using a jab saw.

HOW TO APPLY JOINT COMPOUND
   - Apply joint compound to the small line holes  between plasterboard sheets using a tripper
   - Press joint tape into the compound along the seams, embedding it fully.
   - Apply another layer of joint compound over the tape, feathering the edges to create a smooth transition.

. FINISHING
   - Allow the joint compound to dry completely.
   - Sand the joints and any rough areas using the sandpaper.
   - Apply additional coats of joint compound as needed, sanding between each coat.
   - Install corner mould on the external corners if desired, securing them with screws and covering them with joint compound.
   - Sand the entire surface until smooth, ready for painting or other finishing treatments.
